HTC made an effort to give its customers an affordable smartphone having a big-screen and exceptional features by means of its new smartphone ‘HTC Desire 816’. A review is done on the features of this wonder-phone. The review is done in such a manner that each and every feature is taken into consideration.
Build and Design: Its design resembles to company’s critically acclaimed flagship phone i.e. HTC One. There are dual stereo BoomSound speakers in the front. But the chasis of the phone is made up of plastic instead of metal which provides customers a feel of delight. Its body resembles Apple iPhone 5C. The phone has 5.5-inch Super LCD 2 display (without Gorilla Glass protection) over which there is a 5MP front-facing camera lens. The 13MP rear camera is on the Back with LED flash. Physical keys are absent in this phone but on-screen keys are there for navigation. In addition to these features, there is a plastic flap on the right side having two nano-sim card slots and a micro SD card slot.

Performance: The processor brought into service in HTC Desire 816 is 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor whereas RAM is 1.5GB. Also it is very easy to switch from one app to another, editing or clicking of pictures, playing graphics-heavy games for recreation. Sound quality of front stereo speakers is very fine. One noticeable feature of HTC Desire 816 is that it makes feasible to connect in weak signal areas. The phone has 2600mAh battery which remains alive for one and half day if games are not played and multimedia content is not watched.
The verdict of review is that HTC Desire 816 is a perfect choice for those consumers who desire for mid-range phones with big displays and also for consumers who are not able to purchase HTC One (M8) but can easily buy HTC Desire 816 by paying less than Rs 24000 as it has a good display, good performance, fine audio quality and most of all the battery backup like One (M8).
